The White House said on the 30th (local time) that U.S. President Donald Trump is willing to hold talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un without preconditions.
According to Yonhap News that day, a White House official responded to a question asking, 'Is the Trump administration open to talking with North Korea without mentioning nuclear issues?' by saying, "President Trump is still open to talking with Kim Jong Un with no preconditions."
The official noted, "President Trump held three historic summits with Kim Jong Un during his first term that helped stabilize the Korean Peninsula."
