Bithumb files trademark application for 'Bithumb Pay'

Domestic virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange Bithumb has registered a trademark under the name 'Bithumb Pay'.

On the 1st (local time), according to the Korean Intellectual Property Office's KIPRIS data, Bithumb filed multiple trademark applications on the 26th, including 'Bithumb Pay', 'Bithumbpay', and 'Bithumb pay'.
