39% of Americans: "Shutdown is Trump and the Republican Party's fault"… Democrats 30%

As the U.S. federal government's temporary work stoppage (shutdown) continued into its fifth day on the 5th (local time), a poll found that slightly more Americans believe the responsibility lies with President Donald Trump and the ruling Republican Party.
According to a poll conducted by U.S. CBS and polling firm YouGov from the 1st to the 3rd, the first days of the shutdown, of 2,441 U.S. adults and released that day (margin of error ±2.4% points), 39% of respondents said the responsibility for this incident lies with President Trump and the Republican Party.
Meanwhile, 30% of respondents said the opposition Democratic Party was to blame. The remaining 31% said both sides were to blame.
Eighty percent (80%) of respondents said they were concerned about the impact of this incident on the economy (very concerned 49%, somewhat concerned 31%).
President Trump's approval rating was 42%, down slightly from 44% in last month's poll. Issue-specific approval ratings were immigration policy 45% (oppose 55%), the economy 40% (oppose 60%), and inflation 35% (oppose 65%), among others.
