On the 6th (local time), according to CoinDesk, a media outlet specializing in virtual assets (cryptocurrencies), blockchain-based financial infrastructure company Plume Network (Plume Network) completed registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a token securities transfer agent (Transfer Agent).
With this registration, Plume will be able to manage digital securities and shareholder records directly on-chain, and will also support interoperability with the U.S. Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) settlement network.
Plume plans to launch an initial product related to 'Nest', a staking mechanism for a real-world asset (RWA) protocol, in the first quarter of 2026.
