The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed. On the 9th, the Nasdaq Composite rose 1.12% from the previous day to 23,043.38 points.
The Dow Jones index was at 46,601.78 points, and the S&P 500 index closed up 0.58% at 6,753.72 points.
