Jamie Coutts "This plunge is merely a risk reset… the trends of blockchain and de-monetization continue"
Summary
- Jamie Coutts said the recent crypto asset market's plunge is a risk reset and does not change the long-term growth trajectory.
- Coutts stated that the spread of blockchain infrastructure and the trend of de-monetization remain valid structural trends in the market.
- He emphasized that Bitcoin's role as a store of value and the long-term adoption of blockchain technology will continue.

Despite the plunge in the crypto asset (cryptocurrency) market, analysis has emerged that the long-term growth trend has not changed.
On the 10th (local time), Jamie Coutts, Real Vision's senior cryptocurrency analyst, said on his X (formerly Twitter), "This crash is not 'game over' but merely a risk reset," adding that "the market-wide structural trends are still valid."
He said, "The exponential spread of blockchain infrastructure will eventually ripple through all industries," and analyzed that "accommodative central bank monetary policies are strengthening the inevitable 'The Great Debasement (de-monetization)' trend." He added, "Bitcoin remains the strongest store of value (SOV), and major layer-1 networks are positioned as technology growth beta."
Coutts characterized this correction as a "process of unwinding excessive optimism," and emphasized that "despite market cycle volatility, the adoption of blockchain technology and the macro digital transition will continue over the long term."
