The co-founder He said on X (X·formerly Twitter) on the 11th, "Over the past 16 hours, the market has swung significantly and user inflow surged, causing some users to experience trading-related problems," and added, "I sincerely apologize to everyone who experienced inconvenience due to this."
He explained, "If there are losses caused by Binance's responsibility, please submit them through customer support," adding, "We will review transaction histories for each account, analyze the situation, and provide appropriate compensation." However, he added, "Losses due to market volatility or unrealized gains are not included in the compensation scope."
He emphasized, "The reason Binance is Binance is that it does not evade problems," and said, "If there are shortcomings, we will not make excuses and will take responsibility. We will do our best to provide services to each and every user."
He urged, "The market is still showing high volatility," and "Please be mindful of risks when investing."
