Coinbase drew investors' complaints over service outages caused by a recent large-scale service disruption at Amazon Web Services (AWS). At the time of the incident, Coinbase and other major cloud-based platforms experienced temporary access outages.

Bitcoin (BTC) has been somewhat subdued after being directly hit by various macroeconomic risks such as recent U.S.-China trade tensions and the prolonged U.S. government shutdown, but it is being noted as a store of value as institutional and large corporate market entry has increased. Recently, Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, emphasized that "Bitcoin will inevitably surpass gold's market capitalization," stressing that Bitcoin is still undervalued.

Kadena (KDA) announced the termination of its business citing 'market deterioration,' causing a huge shock to the market. The Kadena Foundation stated, "We can no longer continue business operations and will immediately halt all activities and network maintenance. Due to market conditions, we are no longer able to support the growth and adoption of the decentralized network."

After news of Kadena's business termination was reported, Kadena's native token KDA plunged about 60% in roughly 90 minutes.
