Bithumb Nanum, Dongdaemun-gu Office Hold Sports Event for Families with Disabilities

Bithumb Nanum announced on the 24th that it held a sports event for people with disabilities, their families, and non-disabled residents — around 150 people in total — on the 18th at the plaza of the Dongdaemun-gu Office in Seoul. Fifty volunteers also participated in the event.

The event was organized to promote interaction, communication, and cooperation between people with and without disabilities. Bithumb Nanum and the Dongdaemun-gu Office have been continuing disability support projects and social contribution activities, maintaining coexistence with the local community.

The event featured various side programs, including cooperative sports programs, face painting, and caricatures.

Bithumb Nanum provided all participants with chop steak lunchboxes, walnut pastry sets, bags, and windbreakers as souvenirs.

A Bithumb Nanum representative said, "It was a meaningful occasion where people could understand differences and communicate through shared physical activities," and added, "We will continue inclusive sharing activities where everyone can participate without being marginalized."
