Ethereum Spot ETF Surpasses Bitcoin in Q3 Inflows

In the third quarter of this year, inflows into spot Ethereum (ETH) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) exceeded those into spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETFs for the first time.

According to Messari's data on the 23rd (local time), spot Ethereum ETFs saw total inflows of 8.7 billion dollars during the third quarter, while spot Bitcoin ETFs saw 7.5 billion dollars. In particular, BlackRock's Ethereum spot ETF 'ETHA' led the market in both dollar-denominated inflows and returns.

ETHA's assets under management (AUM) surged by 266.1% quarter-on-quarter, expanding from 4.4 billion dollars to 16 billion dollars. ETHA's quarter-end market share currently stands at 58.2%.
