A senior Trump administration official said on the 24th (local time) that there is currently no schedule for U.S. President Donald Trump to meet North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un during his tour of Asian countries, including South Korea, timed around the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the official said, "The president did express a desire to meet Kim Jong-un in the future, but it is not on this tour's schedule," while adding, "Of course, changes could occur."

President Trump will visit Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and other countries beginning today.
