Trump says "We'll see" when asked about possibility of airstrikes on Venezuela
Summary
- President Trump declined to answer directly when asked about the possibility of a military attack on Venezuela, saying "We'll see."
- Reports say the U.S. administration is considering direct strikes on drug trafficking routes, drawing attention to the possibility of military action.
- It said that if actual military action against Venezuela is carried out, diplomatic tensions and related market volatility could increase.

U.S. President Donald Trump avoided a direct answer when asked about the possibility of a military attack inside Venezuela, saying "We'll see."
According to overseas financial breaking news channel Walter Bloomberg on the 25th, U.S. President Donald Trump responded "We'll see" when asked about the possibility of a military attack inside Venezuela.
Earlier, CNN reported that the U.S. administration was considering strike options directly targeting cocaine production facilities and drug trafficking routes in Venezuela.
President Trump did not mention specific operational plans or timing of any action. However, it was reported that just before his remarks the U.S. Department of Defense moved an aircraft carrier strike group that had been deployed in Europe to the Caribbean, drawing attention to the possibility of actual military measures.
Markets interpret that the Trump administration is increasing pressure on the Maduro regime under the pretext of drug interdiction. If direct strikes within Venezuelan territory become a reality, there is also the possibility that diplomatic tensions could escalate rapidly.
