President Lee Jae-myung and U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a South Korea-U.S. summit at the Gyeongju Museum on the afternoon of the 29th. This is the second time the two leaders have met since late July. The presidential office said it was the shortest period on record for reciprocal visits between South Korean and U.S. leaders.

The two leaders are expected to discuss tariff negotiations and North Korea issues. Attention is focused on whether discussions between the leaders can narrow differences in tariff negotiations between the two countries. However, because positions are sharply divided, there is a growing view that they may not reach a final agreement.
