The issuer of U.S. President Donald Trump's meme coin, OfficialTrump (TRUMP), is pursuing the acquisition of a U.S. crowdfunding firm.
Bloomberg reported on the 30th (local time) that "'Fight Fight Fight' is in negotiations to acquire the U.S. business unit of the crowdfunding platform Republic.com." Fight Fight Fight is the issuer of OfficialTrump.
If the acquisition is completed, Fight Fight Fight is likely to use Trump-related cryptocurrencies as Republic.com's utility token. Bloomberg said, "If the deal is completed, Fight Fight Fight could support capital raising for cryptocurrency startups," and added, "Republic.com is in discussions with several potential partners (about the acquisition)."
