[Exclusive] NVIDIA Jensen Huang "I have a lot of confidence in Samsung"

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA's chief executive officer (CEO), visited Korea and said, "I have a lot of confidence in Samsung."

On the 30th, Huang, who visited Korea to attend APEC 2025, met exclusively with The Korea Economic Daily at a location in Seoul and, in response to a question about Samsung Electronics' possibility of manufacturing advanced NVIDIA chips, replied, "I have a lot of confidence in Samsung (a lot of confidence in Samsung)."

When asked what he wanted to accomplish on this visit to Korea, he briefly replied, "There is a lot to accomplish."

Jensen Huang, NVIDIA CEO, entered the country via Incheon Airport on the afternoon of the 30th.

Huang, who visited Korea for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, arrived at Incheon Airport at around 3 p.m. on that day on a Delta Air Lines flight.

This is Huang's first official visit to Korea since 2010, when he attended Blizzard Entertainment's StarCraft II global launch party.

At the developer event (GTC) held in Washington, D.C., on the 28th (U.S. time), Huang said regarding his visit to Korea, "There will be an announcement that both the Korean people and U.S. President Donald Trump will truly be pleased about," and added, "When you look at Korea's semiconductor ecosystem, each and every Korean company is a close friend and a great partner."
