Bitwise's chief investment officer (CIO) emphasized that investing in Solana (SOL) is an investment with a high probability of winning.

On the 31st (local time), Cointelegraph reported that Bitwise CIO Matt Hogan issued a bullish outlook on Solana, saying, "Solana is an investment that can win in two ways." He added, "Solana is targeting both a 'first win' of the stablecoin and asset tokenization infrastructure market growing, and a 'second win' of increasing share in that market."

He said, "Both of these look like favorable bets," and added, "People are underestimating how quickly and how massively these technologies will reshape the market. I can easily imagine this market growing more than 10 times." He noted that Solana is in a more advantageous position than Ethereum (ETH) and other blockchains in that it has a strong community.

Solana still has a large gap with Ethereum. According to DeFiLlama, Ethereum's stablecoin market capitalization exceeds US$163 billion, and its total value locked (TVL) exceeds US$85 billion. Meanwhile, Solana remains at about US$14.9 billion and US$11.3 billion, respectively.

However, Hogan said, "Solana is still catching up to competitors in attracting institutional capital but is closing the gap quickly," and forecasted, "If the market itself grows and Solana's share increases, the two factors combined could lead to explosive growth."
