'Hit the October crash' whale bets 55 million dollars on Bitcoin and Ethereum bullishness

The whale 'HyperUnit', which accurately predicted the crash triggered by the US-China trade war and earned 200 million dollars, forecast bullishness for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).

On the 4th (Korean time), crypto outlet Cointelegraph cited Arkham's data reporting that HyperUnit opened a Bitcoin long position worth 37 million dollars and an Ethereum long position worth 18 million dollars on Hyperliquid (HYPE).

HyperUnit is a trader who drew attention after accurately predicting the market plunge caused by the US-China tariff clash on October 10 and earning 200 million dollars in profit. Afterwards, the trader also attracted market attention by making profits from two short positions.

As of 10:39 a.m. that day, Bitcoin and Ethereum were trading at 72.1 million dollars and 3,647 dollars, down 2.32% and 5.07% respectively from the previous day.

A bullish indicator also emerged. Analytics firm Santiment said, "Over the past six months, Bitcoin holdings on exchanges decreased by 208,980," and analyzed, "The fact that coins are not moving to exchanges suggests that the risk of further selling is limited."
