On the 8th (local time), Changpeng Zhao told Fox News in an interview, "I met Eric Trump once at a Bitcoin conference held in Abu Dhabi," and "reports that I secured a pardon through a deal with World Liberty Financial (WLFI) are not true," he said.
He emphasized, "That's completely false. There were no deals or discussions, and I have no business relationship with World Liberty Financial."
