Expectations for the launch of spot XRP (XRP) exchange-traded funds (ETFs) appear to be growing. Five spot XRP ETFs have completed ticker registration with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) as part of the ETF launch process.
On the 10th (KST), CryptoBriefing reported that Franklin Templeton 'Franklin XRP Trust (XRPZ)', 21Shares 'XRP ETF (TOXR)', Bitwise 'XRP ETF (XRP)', Canary Capital 'XRP ETF (XRPC)', and CoinShares 'XRP ETF (XRPL)' have completed ticker registration with the U.S. DTCC.
Last week, Steven McClurg, CEO of Canary Capital, said at Ripple's annual event Swell 2025, "Following Litecoin and Hedera, we plan to launch an XRP ETF next week."
In addition, Grayscale is pursuing a plan to convert the 'XRP Trust' launched in September last year into a spot ETF. The trust currently records approximately $14 million in assets under management (AUM).
