On the 11th (Korean time), Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said on X (formerly Twitter), "Canary Capital filed the 8-A filing for a spot XRP ETF the previous day," and "because that day is a U.S. holiday, the product is expected to launch on Wednesday or Thursday."

Previously, the Hedera (HBAR) spot ETF was also launched the day after the 8-A filing.
