The number of active wallets on the Solana (SOL) network hit its lowest level in 12 months.

On the 13th (local time), The Block reported that Solana's number of active wallets decreased to 3.3 million, marking a 12-month low. This is a sharp decline from the peak of about 9 million in January.

Earlier, Solana's active wallet count surged rapidly during the meme-coin craze in the second half of 2024. At that time, Solana led the market with faster speeds and lower transaction costs compared to Ethereum (ETH).

However, in 2025, as the meme-coin hype gradually cooled, overall network activity has continued a modest downward trend. However, the meme-coin issuance platform pump.fun still generates over $1 million a day and maintains about 90% of the total token launchpad market.
