Reports say stablecoin issuer Tether (USDT) is considering a $1.16 billion investment in the German tech startup Neura Robotics (Neura Robotics).

On the 15th (local time), The Block reported that initial discussions between Tether and Neura Robotics have begun, and through this investment round Neura Robotics' corporate valuation is expected to be between $9.29 billion and $11.6 billion.

Neura Robotics is a company focused on developing humanoid robots, and its first product targets industrial customers. The company is reportedly planning to gradually expand its business into the home robot market.

Meanwhile, Tether is estimated to have generated more than $10 billion in profit during the first three quarters of this year and is seeking various new investment opportunities to diversify its asset portfolio.
