Summary
- Solana-based decentralized exchange (DEX) 'Humidify' said it suffered bot abuse sniping during the public sale.
- They said bots mobilized thousands of wallets to occupy trades, limiting purchase participation by existing waitlist participants and Jupiter (JUP) stakers.
- Humidify said it plans to hold the public sale again on the 8th next week.

Solana-based decentralized exchange (DEX) 'Humidify', which held a public sale ahead of its token launch, will rerun the token sale next week. This is because 'sniping' using bots was detected during the public sale held that day.
On the 5th (KST), Humidify stated on X (formerly Twitter), "During the public sale held that day, bots appeared to have occupied the sale immediately by mobilizing thousands of wallets."
According to Humidify, the perpetrators put 1000USDC in each wallet and then executed smart contract deposit commands from multiple wallets simultaneously to carry out the sniping. Humidify explained, "This process caused existing waitlist participants and Jupiter (JUP) stakers to be unable to participate in purchases."
Accordingly, Humidify plans to hold the public sale again on the 8th.
