Blockchain-based global remittance service company Ripple said on the 12th that it has partnered with Swiss-based bank AMINA to introduce its payment solution for the first time in the European banking sector.

AMINA is a virtual asset bank under the supervision of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).

Through this partnership, the two companies will provide cross-border payment services between neighboring countries. Ripple's payment solution 'Ripple Payments' will be used for payments.

Ripple emphasized that this cooperation will act as a gateway linking digital asset companies and the traditional financial system. Kaesi Keuraedok, Ripple's Managing Director for the UK & Europe, said, "Amina bank customers will be able to use stablecoin payments including Ripple USD (RLUSD) and fast payout services based on multiple currencies."
