Cathie Wood (Cathie Wood), CEO of ARK Invest, presented Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) as the three most important core assets in the current crypto asset market.
On the 15th (local time), according to the ARK Invest tracker, Wood said, "Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana are the most important core assets in the current crypto asset market."
Wood evaluated Bitcoin as "evolving into a global monetary system and the first gateway for institutional investors to enter the crypto asset market." She judged that, because its supply is fixed and its decentralization is strong, it is establishing itself as a new global store of value beyond the character of digital gold.
She defined Ethereum as an infrastructure layer for institutions. Wood said, "Ethereum is a core platform for financial institutions and companies to build tokenization, smart contracts, stablecoins, etc.," and explained, "Its role as a foundation connecting traditional finance and digital assets is being strengthened."
Regarding Solana, she emphasized that it is a consumer-focused blockchain. Wood said, "Solana, based on fast processing speeds and low fees, is suitable for the spread of popular applications such as payments, gaming, and social [applications]," and evaluated it as "the chain where actual user adoption can increase the fastest." The analysis is that this differentiation of roles will become the core structure leading the next growth phase of the crypto asset market.
