Amid an intraday plunge in Flow (FLOW), the Foundation said on the 27th that it had recognized the possibility of a potential security incident related to the Flow network and is currently investigating.
The Flow Foundation explained on X (formerly Twitter) that "it had identified a security-related issue that could affect the Flow network and is investigating to determine the exact cause and impact."
The foundation added, "The engineering team is working closely with network partners to carry out mitigation measures," and "If additional information is confirmed, we will promptly share it, limited to verified information."
Flow suddenly plunged at around 9 PM that day.
As of 10:19 PM that day, Flow was trading at 182 won on the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange Upbit, down 28.06% from the previous day.
