On the 2nd (Korean time), according to The Block, a media outlet specializing in virtual assets, ZachXBT, who operates as a virtual asset detective, said on his Telegram channel that recently hacking incidents affecting hundreds of virtual asset wallets have occurred across various EVM chains. The average loss per victim is about $2,000, and so far losses have amounted to approximately $107,000.
The cause of this attack and the hackers' method of attack have not yet been identified. ZachXBT warned that there is still a possibility of additional hacking attacks.
