Kim Young-hoon, widely known as the holder of the world’s highest recorded IQ, has publicly endorsed Story (IP).
On the 17th (Korea time), Kim said on X (formerly Twitter) that “Story will enter a supercycle.”
Story is the native token of Story Protocol, a blockchain-based intellectual property (IP) infrastructure project. Story Protocol is a Layer 1 blockchain designed to register a wide range of IP—such as creative works, data, and AI training content—on-chain and to automate licensing issuance, usage tracking, and revenue distribution through smart contracts.
Following Kim’s remarks, Story surged intraday. As of 5:38 p.m. that day, Story was up 3.4% from the previous day at $2.68. It jumped as high as $2.87 during the session, but has since pared some gains.
Kim is reported to have been certified as the top IQ record holder by the Korea Record Institute and the World Mind Sports Council (WMSC), among others. Last year, WMSC said on its website that “Korean YoungHoonKim recorded an IQ of 276 at the WorldMemoryChampionships in July.” According to the Korea Record Institute, Kim achieved perfect scores on the Wechsler Intelligence Scale (160 points) in December 2018 and the Wechsler standard-deviation high-IQ test (204 points) in February 2022.
Recently, Kim has been posting his outlook on major virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE) on his social media (SNS).
