Police have launched an investigation after an incident in Seoul’s Gangnam district in which 6 million won in cash was stolen under the pretext of an in-person virtual asset (cryptocurrency) transaction.

According to the industry on the 2nd (Korea time), the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul said it is tracking a man, identified only as A, who allegedly lured the victim by claiming he would sell virtual assets below market price and then fled with the cash.
