Forecast Trend Report by Period

Sentient, an open-source artificial intelligence (AI) research lab, said on the 27th (local time) that it is launching 'Arena,' a real-world testing platform designed to evaluate the reasoning performance of enterprise AI agents.
The project has drawn early participation from major investors including Founders Fund, Pantera Capital and Franklin Templeton, as well as alphaXiv, Fireworks and OpenRouter.
According to Sentient, Arena is a test environment that assesses AI agents’ reasoning capabilities by simulating real corporate workflows. It recreates realistic conditions—such as incomplete information, long context windows, ambiguous instructions and conflicting data—and is designed to record and analyze the entire reasoning process rather than simply whether the final answer is correct.
The initial challenge focuses on 'document reasoning,' widely regarded as a core difficulty in enterprise settings. AI agents will be tasked with analyzing and performing calculations on unstructured data.
Sentient plans to operate Arena globally and will open applications for initial participation to thousands of AI developers. Offline events will begin in March 2026, centered on San Francisco.
