President Trump said, “A short while ago, the United States carried out a major military operation against Iran.”

He continued, “The purpose of this operation is to remove the threat posed by the Iranian regime and defend the American people,” adding, “Iran must never be allowed to have nuclear weapons. Iran attempted to rebuild its nuclear program.”

He also added, “America’s primary objective is to destroy Iran’s missiles and devastate its industry itself,” and said it would “wipe out the Iranian navy.”
