According to Iranian state media, Reuters reported on the 1st (local time) that Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, was assassinated while at work in his office.
The state media said, "Khamenei died after being attacked while performing his duties in his office early Saturday morning."
