Iran said it could end the war if it is given assurances that there will be no further attacks by the United States and Israel.

On the 9th (local time), Walter Bloomberg, citing Iranian state media, said Iran stated that the ongoing war could end if assurances are put in place that the United States and Israel will not carry out additional attacks.

Meanwhile, on the same day, U.S. President Donald Trump said in a phone interview with CBS News regarding the war against Iran, “I think it’s in the final stages.”

In the interview, President Trump referred to Iran’s military capabilities, claiming, “They have no navy, no air force, no communications.” He also said of the Strait of Hormuz, an international oil shipping route, that he is “also considering taking control of it.”

The United States and Israel are currently continuing military operations aimed at neutralizing Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities, and have said the timing of the war’s end will be decided through consultations between the two countries.
