The ‘Token 2049 Dubai’ summit—one of the world’s largest digital-asset events—has been postponed by a year amid rising tensions in the Middle East.

According to WuBlockchain on the 13th (Korea time), the Token 2049 event that had been scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on April 29–30 has been rescheduled to April 21–22, 2027.

In a notice sent to participants, organizers said they decided to postpone the event after carefully considering how the recent geopolitical situation could affect attendance and event operations.

In fact, following Iran’s recent airstrikes on neighboring countries, some digital-asset industry participants are said to have left Dubai.
