US economic growth in the fourth quarter of last year was revised to a level far lower than expected.
According to the US Department of Commerce on the 13th (local time), gross domestic product (GDP) in the fourth quarter of last year rose at an annual rate of 0.7%. This was well below the market forecast of 1.4%.
