Forecast Trend Report by Period

Digital-asset investment products took in $1.06bn last week, extending net inflows for a third straight week.
According to CoinShares on the 16th, global digital-asset investment products recorded total net inflows of $1.06bn over the past week. Despite heightened geopolitical tensions, inflows persisted, fueling assessments that Bitcoin is being viewed as a relative safe haven. Since the Iran-related developments, assets under management (AuM) in digital-asset exchange-traded products (ETPs) rose to $140bn, up 9.4%.
By region, 96% of total inflows came from the United States. Canada and Switzerland saw inflows of $19.4m and $10.4m, respectively. Hong Kong posted net inflows of $23.1m, the largest since August 2025. Germany, meanwhile, recorded net outflows of $17.1m, marking the first weekly outflow this year.
By asset, Bitcoin (BTC) accounted for about 75% of total inflows at $793m. Cumulative inflows over the past three weeks totaled $2.2bn. However, short (bearish) Bitcoin investment products also saw $8.1m in inflows, pointing to some divergence in market views.
Over the same period, Ethereum (ETH) registered net inflows of $315m. This is seen as partly reflecting the listing of new staking ETFs in the US. As a result, year-to-date flows have recovered to near net-neutral levels. By contrast, XRP (XRP) recorded net outflows of $76m, extending fund withdrawals for a second consecutive week.
CoinShares said, "Even amid geopolitical turmoil, digital assets are demonstrating relative resilience compared with other asset classes."
