BDACS, a digital-asset custody specialist, said on the 18th that it has received the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) for the second year in a row.
The ISMS certification is a government-recognized scheme that verifies a virtual asset service provider (VASP) has established a secure information security management framework.
BDACS manages corporate clients’ assets through a hybrid security solution that combines MPC (multi-party computation) technology with a cold-wallet management system. Based on this, BDACS has provided its “Prime Custody Solution,” tailored to corporate and institutional investors, since its establishment.
Hong-yeol Ryu, CEO of BDACS, said, “As the digital asset market matures, the importance of security and compliance is growing,” adding, “With this ISMS certification renewal as a milestone, we will take a step forward to become a trusted global financial infrastructure company.”
