Dunamu: "We plan to pursue an IPO immediately after completing the merger with Naver Financial"

Dunamu said it will pursue an initial public offering (IPO) in line with the timing of the completion of the comprehensive stock swap process with Naver Financial.

On the 31st, Dunamu shared key directions regarding its merger and listing plans through its regular shareholders’ meeting. The company explained that the closing of the transaction with Naver Financial is a prerequisite for the IPO timing.

CFO Nam Seung-hyun said, "As soon as the merger process is completed, we will proceed with listing preparations so we can enter the stock market immediately." He added that the previously mentioned “listing within five years” was merely a contractual deadline, and that the actual listing will be carried out in line with the transaction completion timing.

The merger is currently undergoing review, including approval of the business combination by the Fair Trade Commission and approval of the change in major shareholder by the Financial Services Commission. Dunamu said it is continuing consultations with the relevant authorities and submitting the necessary materials.

The company also said it has secured the capacity to respond to the potential exercise of appraisal rights that could be raised during the merger process.
