Upbit to hold Official Trump trading event… top 20 to be invited to Mar-a-Lago

Upbit, a virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange, said on the 4th that it will run an invitation event for customers trading 'Official Trump (TRUMP)' to attend a special event to be held at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, US.

The event is a global gathering hosted by the Official Trump project team. It will take place on April 25 (local time) at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Mar-a-Lago is the residence of US President Donald Trump. A total of 297 top Official Trump holders will be invited, and the global top 29 will additionally be given the opportunity to attend a VIP reception with President Trump in attendance.

Upbit will hold the event for members who traded Official Trump in the KRW market, selecting the top 20 by trading value and providing invitation letters. Customers who place 1st and 2nd among the 20 will also receive VIP reception passes.

The event period runs from April 6 to 7. Applications can be submitted from after the notice is posted until 11:59 a.m. on the 7th. Eligibility is limited to individual members who have completed Upbit’s customer verification (KYC).

Rankings will be calculated based on cumulative Official Trump trading value (combined buys and sells) during the event period, and the final winners will be announced on April 8. Final participants will then be confirmed following confirmation of attendance intent and identity-check procedures.

Upbit stressed that “this event is hosted by the Official Trump team, and Upbit only provides the opportunity for invitations,” adding that it “does not assume responsibility for event operations or on-site proceedings.”
