On June 11, Korea time, Trump wrote on Truth Social that Iran’s navy and air force were “effectively gone” and that its air defense and radar systems had been neutralized.
He also said a substantial portion of Iran’s missile and drone production facilities had been destroyed. Trump added that efforts had begun to clear mines in the Strait of Hormuz “for the good of the world.”
He also rejected media reports suggesting Iran had the advantage. “Reports that Iran is winning the upper hand are not true,” Trump wrote.
Major international media outlets had earlier reported that the US, Iran and Pakistan, acting as mediator, had entered three-way talks in Islamabad.
