  • The report said that marks roughly $5 billion in liquidity returning from the February low, and that flows of dollar-pegged assets may indicate possible accumulation in Bitcoin (BTC) and major altcoins.

Binance’s stablecoin reserves are rising, signaling that buying power may be returning to the cryptocurrency market, according to an analysis.

CryptoQuant contributor CryptoOnchain wrote on June 12 that Binance’s ERC-20 stablecoin reserves recently climbed to about $46.3 billion, the highest level since early February. That suggests about $5 billion in liquidity has flowed back to the exchange from the February low.

Stablecoin reserves are a key on-chain gauge of sidelined funds on exchanges. An increase in the figure is generally interpreted as a sign that investors are preparing to buy. In particular, flows of dollar-pegged assets onto exchanges may indicate accumulation in Bitcoin and major altcoins.

Still, the current level remains below the roughly $51 billion recorded in November 2025. Whether the market is poised to enter a broader uptrend will depend on whether additional inflows continue.

Drawing on past cases, CryptoOnchain said rising stablecoin reserves have tended to ease downside volatility and help lay the foundation for price gains. If reserves approach their previous peak, meaningful short-term buying pressure could emerge.
