Crypto Planet said on April 15 that it will hold BUIDL Asia 2026 in Seoul on April 16-17, bringing together global blockchain and artificial intelligence developers.

Now in its sixth year, BUIDL Asia is the main event of Korea BUIDL Week and is regarded as one of Asia’s representative Web3 developer conferences. It has established itself as a gathering watched by global builders alongside ETHDenver in the US and the Ethereum Community Conference, or EthCC, in Europe.

This year’s event will center on the convergence of AI and Web3. Key topics include the agent economy, how AI and Web3 complement each other, real-world asset tokenization, stablecoins and Web3 gaming. More than half of the program will cover AI agent-related themes.

Speakers include NEAR Protocol co-founder Illia Polosukhin, Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu and OpenGradient’s Matthew Wang. They will present their views on the direction of AI-Web3 convergence and the agent economy. The conference will also host a panel discussion on agent reliability and potential applications.

A live presentation using Ironclaw, an agent developed by the NEAR AI team, is also scheduled. The session, integrated with a video streaming platform, will include a presentation and question-and-answer session on the concept of sovereign agents.

The event will also spotlight stablecoins and real-world assets, two of the market’s key themes in recent months. LayerZero (ZRO) plans to share examples of RWA tokenization and present its strategy for on-chain expansion.

The conference will be community-driven. About 30 domestic and overseas communities will take part to share technical knowledge and hiring information, while major projects including NEAR, Aleo, StarkWare and Noble will participate as sponsors.

Kang Hyun-jung, chief executive officer of Crypto Planet, said the event will offer participants a chance to experience the combination of AI and Web3 firsthand and connect with global builders. She added that it would be a meaningful opportunity for those seeking to better understand the ecosystem.
