Bitcoin held near the $74,000 level as risk appetite improved across global financial markets.

CoinDesk reported on June 15 that Bitcoin was trading around $74,000, maintaining a firm tone. Global equities have also recovered to pre-conflict levels as expectations build for easing tensions between the US and Iran.

Ethereum traded in the $2,300 range after rising about 4% for the week, slightly outpacing Bitcoin’s gain. By contrast, major altcoins including Solana, Cardano and Dogecoin were weaker, while Tron rose 3%.

Market analysis shows Bitcoin’s current price is approaching the average purchase price for investors in US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds. That suggests the area could serve as support rather than trigger selling pressure. Investors who held through prices below $60,000 are also seen as having little incentive to sell at break-even.

Institutional inflows remain another source of support. On June 6, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $471 million of net inflows in a single day, the largest since February, pushing cumulative inflows above $56 billion.

Markets are also reflecting the possibility of Federal Reserve rate cuts later this year. Expectations for greater liquidity are lifting sentiment toward risk assets more broadly.
