Strategy, the world’s largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, bought 34,164 more BTC on April 20.
Executive Chairman Michael Saylor wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that the company spent about $2.54 billion on the purchase, paying an average of $74,395 per Bitcoin. He also said Strategy’s BTC yield has reached 9.5% so far this year.
The latest purchase raised Strategy’s total Bitcoin holdings to 815,061 BTC. Its cumulative purchases now amount to about $61.56 billion, with an average purchase price of $75,527 per token.
