Forecast Trend Report by Period

Arbitrum has taken emergency action to freeze funds tied to the KelpDAO exploit.
In a post on X on April 21, Arbitrum said its Security Council froze about 30,766 ETH held by an address linked to the KelpDAO exploit. The action followed cooperation with investigative authorities that partially identified the attacker.
The council said it made network security and integrity its top priorities while ensuring the move would not affect Arbitrum users or applications.
Following technical reviews and discussions, Arbitrum chose to transfer the assets to a separate wallet. The process was designed not to affect the chain's state or other users' assets.

The frozen funds can be moved only after a further decision by Arbitrum governance. Future steps will be carried out in cooperation with relevant authorities.
