Nexths Partners With Worldpay to Expand CROSS Shop Payment Infrastructure

Nexths said on April 24 that it had partnered with Worldpay through its Dubai-based unit, Nexths Hub FZCO.
The partnership will allow CROSS Shop to use Worldpay’s global payments network. Nexths said users will be able to buy game items using local currencies as well as various digital assets.
Worldpay is a global payments company that handles more than 50 billion transactions a year. CROSS Shop is a web-based platform that allows game developers to sell products without going through mobile app marketplaces. Its key feature is CROSS Pay, a stablecoin-based payment system.
Chief Executive Officer Jang Hyun-kook said the Worldpay partnership means CROSS now supports both Web2 and Web3 and extends to Web4 through the previously introduced x402 protocol. He added that the company will keep building payment infrastructure aimed at delivering the best profitability for developers and a seamless, borderless payment experience for users.
