In a post on X on April 24, the protocol said it has been coordinating with key partners, including Aave, since the April 18 incident.
KelpDAO said the initial loss from the attack totaled 163,200 Ether, but recovery efforts and outside support have cut that figure to about 89,500 Ether.
The protocol said additional recovery will come through industry cooperation. It is in talks with partners to finalize specific support terms, and major projects including Mantle, Ether.fi, Lido and Golem have pledged support covering about 43,500 Ether.
