Bitcoin Education Group Launches AI Tool to Counter Baseless FUD

An open-source artificial intelligence tool aimed at correcting fear, uncertainty and doubt, or FUD, surrounding Bitcoin has been launched to generate answers based on scientific evidence.

Cointelegraph reported on May 1 that Bitcoin education platform Bitcoin Beyond 66 has built The Bitcoin Evidence Base, which produces evidence-based responses on Bitcoin's environmental impact, energy use and role in the financial system.

The tool generates instant answers when users enter text or links, drawing on more than 22 academic papers, Cambridge reports and data from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, or ERCOT.

Bitcoin Beyond 66 said outdated data and methodologically weak studies continue to distort public perception, even as more peer-reviewed research points to the environmental benefits of Bitcoin mining.
