Dunamu’s Web3 infrastructure project GIWA will take part in Consensus 2026, the global blockchain conference set to be held in Miami, the company said on May 4.
Consensus brings together blockchain developers, investors and policymakers from around the world. This year’s event will be held in Miami from May 5 to May 7.
Upbit’s GIWA team plans to run a dedicated booth during the conference to introduce its Web3 infrastructure ecosystem to global developers and industry participants. It will showcase Web3 services built to strengthen user accessibility and security through integration with Upbit as part of its broader global expansion strategy.
The company plans to unveil key technologies on site, including the testnet of GIWA Chain, a high-performance layer-2 network; GIWA Wallet; Dojang, an on-chain verification system; Bojagi, a privacy protection technology; and UP.ID, a Web3 naming service.
GIWA will also introduce GASOK, a developer support program designed to expand its ecosystem, for the first time. The program will select dApp projects built on GIWA and provide technical consulting and development support.
In addition, GIWA said it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Optimism, the Ethereum layer-2 project, to pursue technical cooperation in areas including sequencer operations and backup infrastructure. The two companies also plan to discuss broader ecosystem expansion by sharing global partner networks and engineering resources.
“We will use Consensus 2026 as an opportunity to expand our touchpoints with global developers and build a Web3 ecosystem that anyone can use easily,” Jeong Min-seok, chief operating officer of Upbit, said.
Upbit also plans to expand its overseas network during the event through participation in CoinDesk Live and meetings with global institutional partners.
