BitMine appears to have added to its Ether holdings in another large purchase.
On-chain analytics platform Lookonchain said May 17 that four new wallets believed to be tied to BitMine received a combined 89,026 ETH from Kraken and FalconX. At current prices, the transfers were worth about $197.64 million.
The new wallets appear to be connected to BitMine, Lookonchain wrote, describing the transfers as a continuation of the company’s recent large-scale Ether accumulation.
BitMine had previously said it would slow the pace of its Ether purchases. Even so, the company has also said it aims to secure 5% of Ether’s total circulating supply by year-end.
